Introducing the new Analytics Dashboard

I’m sure you’ll agree with me when I say that understandable and actionable reporting for individual creators and small businesses is a big deal. We all want to know what efforts pay off, where the traffic comes from and how much we’ve made in the last month. With the brand new Analytics dashboard it’s easier to read all the aforementioned info at a glance.

What is different in the new Analytics?

1. The main Analytics section

In the first tab, you can see the number of **total store visits** during the period you have chosen above. Please note, we’ve changed the way we track this metric. Previously we tracked product views, meaning that if a buyer clicked on various products on your store, these were counted as separate views. Now we only track store visits as unique visits. (double-check with Robis if this is correct)
The **purchases tab** shows the number of purchases made a.k.a. orders placed. Meaning, if a customer bought 3 products at once, this will be displayed as one purchase.
The **conversions tab** shows how well your visits convert into purchases. So the formula is -> purchases / visits * 100.
The **revenue tab** shows the total revenue or the gross revenue made during the chosen period. This includes the tax and the fee. So to know the net profit, you’d have to deduct all expenses + tax + fees.
All of this information is then displayed in the graph below (the graph changes as you click from tab to tab), so you can see the changes depending on time and perhaps notice some common patterns. Like, for example, that your audience is more keen on buying during weekends or on Mondays

2. Top products section

This section offers a very detailed view on all your products sorted by revenue. This allows you to quickly grasp which products are most successful and perhaps focus on creating a similar offering.

3. Traffic sources section

The pie chart displays the top traffic sources, so you know what channels have been the most successful in attracting new customers. When you hover over each slice, you see the exact number of visitors through that channel or medium. On the right side of the pie chart, you have a more in-depth information about each traffic source. This information can help you decide where to focus your efforts, what your marketing budget split should look like, etc. The information in the table is ranked by visits.

4. Countries section

This interactive map offers a perfect bird-view glance at where your customers come from geographically. You might get surprised how small the world is. What’s cooler, you get additional info when you hover over each country where you have at least one purchase. Top countries are listed in the table below for your convenience.

How to make it work?

Just head to the Analytics page, pick the timeframe and geek into the analytics world. The new version is already available in your dashboard, but for now, you can also switch to the old version in case you need it.
**Note:** the mobile version view portrays the same information in one long scroll.

 Over to you.
